Growing up, I couldnt wait for the latest issue of Life magazine to be delivered. The intriguing black and white images captured my imagination and educated me about the world I lived in without using a single word.

I always remembered my early inspiration and enrolled at CSUF where I graduated with a BA in Communications/Photojournalism, I went on to intern at The Daily Pilot shooting news, sports, and features and from there landed at The Orange County Register as a general assignment stringer. I continued to work for news services such as Knight-Ridder and The Associated Press while I started my own business ,Kentphotos. Here I was able to bring my photojournalistic skills to not only my wedding and portrait clients but also professional organizations such as The Orange County Performing Arts Center, Memorial Care Hospital Group, Los Angeles Opera, Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts and more.

Recently, I have added teaching to my resume and after two years at Cerritos College teaching Digital Photography and Photojournalism classes I still am amazed at how my fascination and excitement with the camera and the people I am honored to photograph continues to grow.
